Open Enrollment is your chance to review and update your benefit elections. Don't miss this opportunity to ensure you’re making the most of your benefits for the upcoming year!

OE Clock with Dates
  • EMPLOYEES making changes to their medical, dental, vision, and/or supplemental life insurance benefit elections -OR- enrolling in flexible spending accounts/transit benefits for 2025 MUST complete their enrollment electronically through their Employee Portal.
  • RETIREES making changes to their benefit elections will continue to submit their enrollment through a paper Retiree Open Enrollment Form.

  BENEFIT ENROLLMENT INFORMATION FOR CURRENT EMPLOYEES

 

WHO MUST COMPLETE 2025 OPEN ENROLLMENT?

  •  Employees making changes to their medical, dental, vision and/or supplemental life insurance coverage for 2025.
  • Employees enrolling in medical and/or dependent flexible spending accounts (FSAs) for 2025. (2024 elections DO NOT carry over.)
  • Employees enrolling in transit benefits for 2025. (2024 elections DO NOT carry over.)

Employees NOT making changes to their 2024 coverage AND NOT enrolling in FSA or transit benefits for 2025 DO NOT need to complete open enrollment.

  • Their 2024 benefit elections will automatically carry over into 2025.
  • They will NOT be enrolled in FSA or transit benefits for 2025 even if they were enrolled in 2024. 

HEALTH INSURANCE OPT-OUT INCENTIVE 

If you have access to health insurance through another source, such as through a family member, you could qualify for a CASH INCENTIVE from the City!  

Annualized incentive value by waived coverage tier:

  • $2,000 Single
  • $3,000 Plus One
  • $4,000 Family

Employees participating in the program for 2025 must decline City medical, dental, and vision coverage and forward their completed Opt-Out Form along with proof of medical coverage elsewhere to the HR Dept. by the November 1 deadline.

  BENEFIT ENROLLMENT INFORMATION FOR RETIREES

 

This is a PASSIVE ENROLLMENT for Retiree medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • IF YOU ARE NOT MAKING ANY CHANGES, NO ACTION IS NEEDED.
  • Your 2024 benefit elections will automatically carry over into 2025.

If you wish to make changes to your retiree benefits, please return your completed Retiree Open Enrollment Form to the City's HR Dept. by no later than Friday, November 1, 2024.
