The Des Plaines Fire Department is providing the opportunity to learn CPR. We offer two CPR courses designed by the American Heart Association (AHA). These courses teach first responders to effectively recognize and treat medical emergencies during the first critical minutes prior to emergency medical service personnel arrival. Additional information, including the monthly class schedule, can be seen below. All CPR classes are taught under current American Heart Association guidelines.

Contact Fire Department Public Education at 847-391-5348 or mrossi@desplainesil.gov to register and state which class you are interested in taking.
