The DEA Take Back event offers free and anonymous disposal of medications at thousands of local drop-off locations nationwide, including the Des Plaines Police Department. Properly dispose of any Rx drugs at 1418 Miner St. on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Clean out your medicine cabinets and bring by any expired, unused or unneeded medication and it will be safely disposed of, no questions asked.
