Bike & Walk Des Plaines is promoting a family-friendly, free, community bike ride.

The ride is located at the Des Plaines River Trail, starting at Camp Ground Road Woods in the Forest Preserve (entrance at E. Algonquin Rd. & Joseph Schwab Rd.), continuing South to Touhy Avenue, then returning North on the trail to Big Bend Lake, then returning to the Camp Ground Road Woods Pavilion for a gathering of riders, with refreshments.

Registration starts at 9:00 a.m., ride starts at 10:00 a.m.
