The Self-Help Closet & Pantry of Des Plaines hosts its annual summer fundraiser, a family foot golf event for all ages, on Saturday, September 9. "Putt for the Pantry/Foot Golf Edition" is scheduled for 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Lake Park golf course, 1015 Howard St., Des Plaines.

Tickets are available at the course, with pricing at $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under. Soccer balls are available to rent on site or participants can bring their own. Add a hot dog, chips and drink for $5. Beer/wine also will be available for adult purchase, and "split the pot" tickets will be sold at $1 each or six for $5.
